IDTA Exams

Pupils are regularly entered for International Dance Teachers’ Association exams at sessions held throughout the year.

The I.D.T.A is an accredited awarding body by the Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET) and is also a member of the Central Council for Physical Recreation and the Stage dance Council International. It is responsible for more examinations in dancing than any other similar organisation in the world.

 

We hold exam sessions regularly and this means pupils may be entered when they are happy and confident with the work required and this way the exams are less daunting and are a happy and enjoyable experience. With this positive attitude the school has maintained a 100% success in grades and professional exams with pupils achieving high results in Ballet and Tap.
