Welcome to The Dream Academy of Dancing

Lisa Plumb (Principal) L.I.D.T.A

Hi I’m Lisa Plumb, Principal of The Dream Academy of Dancing.

I started dancing and performing from the age of 10 years and it is a passion that has stayed with me into adulthood.

In 1993 The dream academy of dancing was founded and from small beginnings  we have become well established

within the community.  Since those early days I have taught hundreds of local girls, and some boys, from when they

were tiny stars until they moved on to make their own way in the world as young adults. As time moves on, some have

returned starting the next generation of budding ballerinas on that familiar path

I am a registered Licenciate teacher of the International Dance Teachers Association and have over 20 years teaching

experience of all ages, from children aged 3 through to adults.

To date the school has a 100% examination success rate and as a qualified teacher, I can enter students for

examinations in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Gymnastics. As well as exams students also have the opportunity to

participate in our annual show and several competitions and events throughout the year.

You can join us at anytime of the year, and you are ensured of a very warm welcome from myself and my team.
